Why this Summit exists

From a signed MOU to a live market.

In July 2026, Trinidad and Tobago signed the Caribbean’s first data center memoranda of understanding — with EY and Hummingbird AI Holdings — targeting a combined 450MW of AI infrastructure capacity and projecting over 5,000 jobs. That moment marked a shift: the region’s AI and data center opportunity stopped being theoretical and started being a live, negotiable market.

The Summit exists to build on that momentum directly. We convene hyperscaler site-selection teams, regional and multilateral finance, and government decision-makers in one room — with a structure built for actual dealmaking, including a closed-door Investor Track and scheduled 1:1 meetings, not just panels and handshakes.

Our goal

Convert real investor and government attention into signed commitments — while making sure the conversation includes the region’s own governance priorities, workforce development, and public concerns, not just the capital side of the equation.

Looking ahead

The first of an annual, region-wide series.

Port of Spain hosts the inaugural edition — but the ambition isn’t a one-off conference tied to one country’s MOUs. As more CARICOM nations develop their own data center and AI infrastructure plans, the Summit is intended to become an annual, rotating fixture across the region: a recurring venue for the Caribbean’s AI and infrastructure investment conversation, wherever the momentum is strongest that year.

That’s consistent with the Caribbean AI Agency’s broader mission — building lasting regional institutions, not one-time events. Expect future editions to be announced as host nations and dates are confirmed.

What does the Investor Track include?

Closed-door sessions on incentive structures, land, and permitting, plus a scheduled 1:1 meeting program matching you with government, utility, and land officials. Capacity is limited, so early registration matters here more than for standard passes. Can I get a refund if I can’t attend?

Full refunds are available up to 30 days before the event (February 7, 2027). Within 30 days, registrations can be transferred to a colleague at no charge, but are not refundable. Is press accreditation guaranteed?

No — press passes require outlet verification and are subject to approval by our communications team. Apply early, particularly if you want access to the Day 3 signing ceremony. What’s the dress code?

Business attire for the summit days; business casual is fine for the welcome reception. The gala dinner on Day 2 is smart/cocktail attire.
